Objective and Background
The UM6P Benguerir project is being developed as a multi crop research greenhouse focused on innovation, sustainability, and the future of controlled environment agriculture in Morocco. The greenhouse is designed to function as a flexible research platform where different crops, cultivation strategies, and climate technologies can be tested under controlled conditions. Rather than focusing on a single production model, the project aims to create a space where research and practical horticulture come together.

Key Challenges
One of the main challenges of the project is designing a greenhouse flexible enough to support multiple crop types and changing research objectives while still maintaining precise environmental control. The greenhouse systems must allow researchers to adjust climate conditions, irrigation strategies, and cultivation setups without compromising reliability or operational efficiency.
