The CanAdelaar project involved the transformation of an existing tomato greenhouse into a highly specialized cannabis cultivation facility in the Netherlands. Double screening systems controlled light exposure and optimized production scheduling, while specialized growlights supported healthy plant development throughout the cultivation cycle.
The project also included advanced service areas such as drying rooms, packaging spaces, post harvest processing areas, and staff facilities. Air treatment solutions maintained hygiene, environmental stability, and product quality throughout the facility. One of the most sensitive areas was the elite room, designed for cultivating mother plants where genetic consistency and plant protection are essential for maintaining high quality cannabis production standards.
